This commemorative medal has been produced in conjunction with Tasmedals in Australia who are the sponsors in conjunction with The Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia (Tasmania). This medal is a tribute to those who served in Vietnam between 1960 and 1972 and their next of kin.

The ribbon comprises dark and light green bordered representing the Green of Vietnam while the yellow and red colours of the Republic of Vietnam are centralised between the green borders.

The Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia (Tasmania) is the beneficiary of this project.
